A bar mitzvah trip centered on football starts with the team the bar mitzvah boy wants to see. From there, you move on to choosing the match, the city, and the travel dates. In October and November of the 2026/27 season, you can choose matches in Barcelona, Manchester, Milan, and London, among other options, and plan the trip around your family's school schedule.
If the bar mitzvah boy is an FC Barcelona fan, start by asking whether he specifically wants to see El Clásico against Real Madrid, or whether the goal is to see FC Barcelona at home. Among other options, you can choose packages for the following matches at Camp Nou:
El Clásico is suitable for those who want to see FC Barcelona and Real Madrid face each other. If the main priority is FC Barcelona at Camp Nou, also compare the dates of the matches against Getafe and Deportivo Alavés with the time off you can take.
For Manchester City and Manchester United fans, the preferred team can determine the choice of match. When planning as a family, it is worth comparing a match on Saturday or Sunday with a midweek match. In Manchester, you can choose these packages, among other options:
AC Milan and Inter Milan play at San Siro. If your child supports one of them, you can choose a match featuring that team against another opponent; if he wants to see them face each other, the Milan derby is a suitable choice. Among others, you can choose from the following packages:
For a family with an Arsenal fan, a match at the Emirates can be the starting point for a trip. In London, you can choose, among others, packages for these Arsenal home matches and plan your trip around a Tuesday or Saturday:
Before finalizing the trip, make sure the match date is confirmed and compare it with the school's holiday calendar. Consider the departure and return dates alongside the match date: even when choosing a weekend match, you need to check how the flights fit in with school. For a midweek match, arrange an absence in advance if needed. Choose flights that allow you to get to the match without rushing, and plan to arrive early at the stadium. Involve your child in choosing between the opponent he wants to see and the dates that work for the family.
A package includes a flight, a hotel, and a ticket to the match. If you prefer to arrange the flight and hotel yourself, check separately whether you can book just a ticket to your chosen match. With either option, check the booking details and their suitability for all family members, including the seating arrangements and getting to the stadium. With TikTik, you can book on the website or through a representative and receive service in Hebrew. To choose a package, you can go to Sports Packages. The next step is to choose one match with the bar mitzvah boy and check how the travel dates fit in with his school break.
