A bar mitzvah boy who loves football will remember a ticket to a match in Europe long after the celebration. He will sit in the stand and watch his team in a stadium he has only known from the screen until now. For the gift to succeed, you need to decide on three things: which team, which date, and whether to buy a ticket only or a package of flight, hotel and ticket.
Three things to settle before you buy
- His team. The best gift is a match of the team he supports, at home or away. If you are not sure which team it is, ask his parents or siblings without him hearing.
- Final date. Some of the matches already have a final date. Anyone who needs to arrange time off from work and school will be more relaxed with a match like that.
- Coordinating with the parents. Before booking, check with the parents who is joining him on the trip, when the school vacations are and on which dates it is convenient for them to fly.
