The fifth album, Deadbeat, was released in 2025; the single Dracula was a commercial success, and its remix with Jennie from Blackpink became the project's first hit to reach the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. The shift from home recordings to a project that performs with a band is part of Tame Impala's story: Parker is at the center of the creative work, while the live shows bring the music to the stage with additional musicians.
