Beck (Beck Hansen, born in 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles. He broke through in the early ’90s with an experimental, “lo-fi” style, and the song Loser reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. His 1996 album Odelay topped critics’ lists, and he later released albums that differed greatly from one another, such as Midnite Vultures and Sea Change. His music combines folk, funk, soul, hip-hop, electronica, and alternative rock.
The upcoming tour is short, traveling along the East Coast and through the southern US between October 18 and 31, 2026: The Met in Philadelphia, two nights at Brooklyn Paramount in New York, The Anthem in Washington, Durham and Asheville in North Carolina, Atlanta, and the finale in Nashville on October 31.
Since every Beck album sounds different, the show moves between styles: one moment a danceable funk track, the next an acoustic ballad. It's an evening for anyone who loves musical surprises, in mid-sized venues where the audience is close to the stage.
