Lil Wayne (Dwayne Carter Jr., born in 1982) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from New Orleans, considered one of the most influential hip-hop artists of his generation and one of the greatest rappers of all time. He signed with Cash Money Records when he was 11, was a member of the group Hot Boys, and broke through as a solo artist with the 1999 album Tha Block Is Hot.
There are currently two upcoming Lil Wayne shows on the schedule, both in the southeastern US: Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 22, 2026, and the following day, October 23, Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Lil Wayne performs a run of songs from throughout his career, combining fast-paced rap with melodic sections. In large arenas like these, located on university campuses, the crowd is young and loud, and the atmosphere feels like a party night. If you're planning a trip to the US in late October, you can combine the show with a visit to nearby Nashville or Atlanta.
