Emirates Stadium opened in 2006 in north London — a three-tier bowl with 60,704 seats, among the largest in England. Four stands: the North Bank and the Clock End behind the goals — the heart of the atmosphere — and the large East and West stands along the touchlines, whose middle tier is the prestigious Club Level. Fans enter the stadium via the Ken Friar and Danny Fiszman bridges, between the statues of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Tony Adams. Since the summer, around 6,850 rail seats for safe standing have been installed on the lower tier of the Clock End — the biggest change to the matchday experience since the stadium opened. Home tickets are allocated by an official ballot for each match: you register in the registration window (alone or in a group of up to four) and every applicant has an equal chance. Red membership is the open entry gate; Silver level, with much better odds, is only offered as you move up the waiting list. After the ballots, the internal ticket exchange opens between members. The club runs an active war against touts — just last season tens of thousands of accounts were cancelled — and demand is officially described as 'unprecedented'. How do you get to Emirates Stadium?
To get to Emirates Stadium by Tube: Arsenal station on the Piccadilly line, a three-minute walk. This station is the closest, but it has no lifts. The recommended, accessible route: Finsbury Park station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines, plus rail) — a ten-minute walk, and the same goes for Highbury & Islington. Important on matchdays: Holloway Road station is exit-only before the match and closed afterwards, and Drayton Park is closed entirely. Coming from the city? Is there parking at Emirates Stadium?

The stadium sits in a residential area with a matchday parking scheme in which only residents with a permit can park on the streets, and any vehicle parked illegally is towed. The parking restrictions are extended on matchdays into the evening, including on weekends. There is no fan car park and no official Park & Ride — public transport is the way, and cyclists have secure parking at Drayton Park and near Finsbury Park station.
How do you get from Israel to an Arsenal match?
For an Arsenal match you fly directly from Tel Aviv to London — about five hours' flight. El Al flies to Heathrow daily and also to Luton, and Wizz Air operates direct routes to Luton and Gatwick.
