About the stadium
Gtech Community Stadium opened on 1 September 2020 and is one of the newest stadiums in the Premier League — a closed, compact bowl of 17,250 seats in west London, on the bank of the Thames in the Brentford area. The four stands are named after the compass points: the South Stand is the main and biggest one, about 6,000 seats, home to the dugouts and media areas; the North Stand is the family area; the West Stand is the heart of the home crowd — entirely converted in summer 2022 to rail seats for safe standing; and the East Stand hosts away fans in its corner. The attendance record was set on 12 February 2026: 17,224 spectators against Arsenal. The stadium's closeness to the pitch is among the tightest in the league, and that's exactly what creates its atmosphere. Address: Brentford, London, TW8 0RU.
FAQ
How do you buy tickets for a Brentford match?
Tickets for Brentford matches at Gtech Community are sold only to season-ticket holders and My Bees members. This is one of the most closed matches in the Premier League for an outside visitor: at a stadium of only 17,250 seats there is no general sale to the public for home league matches, and even for season-ticket holders or My Bees members, sale opens in staggered windows according to a points system called TAPs that accumulates attendance over five years. The club classifies matches into three categories: A* (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United), A and B. For A* matches at least 100 TAPs points are needed just to enter the window, and in the first window members with 300 points or more get half of the entire allocation. New season tickets are almost never opened — 98 percent of season-ticket holders renewed for the 2026/27 season, and only afterward does a short window open for club members who met the attendance criterion. TikTik secures tickets for Brentford matches without a season ticket, without membership and without accumulating points.
How do you get to Brentford's stadium?
You get to Gtech Community by train to Kew Bridge station — a three-minute walk from the stadium. This is one of the best approaches in the whole league: the station is about a hundred meters from the gates, and you reach it by South Western Railway train from London Waterloo station, nine stops, with stops also at Vauxhall and Clapham Junction; on Saturdays there's a train about every quarter of an hour. By underground: Gunnersbury station on the District line, about a quarter-hour walk. In total there are eight train and underground stations within a kilometer and a half of the stadium, so there's always an alternative. Bus lines that go there directly: 65, 110, 237, 267, 391 and H91. Address: TW8 0RU.
Is there parking at Brentford's stadium?
No — Gtech Community has no general parking on match day, the club runs a zero-parking policy. The few spaces that do exist are reserved for disabled-badge holders only, on a seasonal allocation. Around the stadium are controlled parking zones run by Hounslow council, including a dedicated match-day zone that is especially restricted — parking on residential streets will draw a fine. Anyone who must arrive by car has to book a spot in advance through the club's official parking provider or a private car park in the area, by advance online payment only; some of the lots are up to a 25-minute walk from the stadium. London's ULEZ zone also needs to be taken into account. The clear recommendation here is the train. Cyclists have 300 parking spaces.
How do you get from Israel to a Brentford match?
For a Brentford match you fly to London, and from there take a train from London Waterloo to Kew Bridge station. This is one of the simplest matches to reach from Israel, because it's all within London: you land at one of London's airports, the ride from London Waterloo is nine stops, and the stadium is a three-minute walk from the platform. There's no need to stay outside the city and no need for an inter-city train: you can fold the match into a regular day of sightseeing in London.
Does an Israeli need a visa to fly to the UK for the match?
Not a visa, but yes an entry authorization. Since 8 January 2025, Israeli citizens have been required to have a UK ETA. The cost is £20, it allows multiple entries and is valid for two years or until the passport expires - whichever comes first - and permits a stay of up to 6 months per visit. You apply on the official website or the UK ETA app. The response usually arrives within a day, but you should allow up to three working days, and you must not fly before the authorization has been received by email.
Where's the best place to sit at Brentford's stadium?
The West Stand at Gtech Community is the heart of the home crowd and the center of the atmosphere. Two tiers, entirely converted in 2022 to rail seats for safe standing, and in summer 2026 the club launched a trial there of a dedicated singing section that gathers the fans who drive the atmosphere. The South Stand is the main and biggest one, about 6,000 seats, and the North Stand is the family area. Away fans sit in the corner of the East Stand, in blocks N120 and E115 to E117 on the lower tier and E215 to E218 on the upper, in an allocation of about 1,600 seats that grows to about 2,000 for cup matches. The stadium is fully wheelchair accessible, and it also has a sensory room and an audio-description service for blind fans.
What's special about Brentford?
Brentford is the living proof that it's possible to compete in the Premier League without big money. The club was promoted to the top flight in 2021 after 74 years outside it, and since then has consistently finished in the top half — ninth place in the 2025/26 season — with the smallest budget and the smallest stadium in the league. Its model, based on data analysis and scouting players before the market discovers them, is now studied at clubs far bigger than it. Irish coach Keith Andrews was appointed on 27 June 2025 in place of Thomas Frank, who moved to Tottenham, without having previously coached a top-flight team — and after the ninth-place season he signed a new contract until summer 2032. The nickname is The Bees, and the club has two active fan trusts that represent it on the board.
What's Brentford's big match in the 2026/27 season?
Brentford's big match in the 2026/27 season is Arsenal at home, on Wednesday 2 December 2026. Arsenal is classified by the club in category A* — the highest — and it's also the opponent against whom the stadium's attendance record was set in February 2026. Brentford opens the season at home, on Saturday 22 August 2026 at 17:30 against Tottenham Hotspur, live on TV. The other big home matches: Chelsea on 19 September, Liverpool on 17 October, Manchester City on 5 December and Manchester United on 30 January. The west London derby against Fulham is played at home on 24 April 2027. Match times may change according to TV scheduling.
