Simply Red

Simply Red is an English pop and soul band formed in Manchester in 1985, led by singer and songwriter Mick Hucknall, the only member from the original lineup. The songs Holding Back the Years and If You Don't Know Me by Now reached number one in the United States, and Fairground reached number one in the UK. The 1991 album Stars is one of the best-selling albums in the UK, and the band has sold more than 50 million albums.

About the Tour

Simply Red's European tour opens on 16 June 2027 at MEO Arena in Lisbon, and continues to two evenings at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and to Antwerp. Most of the summer is dedicated to open-air performances in Germany, including Munich, Nuremberg, Fulda, Bonn, Stuttgart and Leipzig, and then in Austria, Switzerland (Piazza Grande in Locarno), the Roman arena in Pula in Croatia and Italy (Pompeii, Bari and Lucca). The tour ends in England: Chester, three evenings at Piece Hall in Halifax, and final performance on 13 August 2027 at Gunnersbury Park in London.
