About the Tour

The tour: After Hours til Dawn  ·  Our cities: London · Madrid · Barcelona · Lisbon  ·  Show length: About two hours  ·  Opening act: Prince 85 and Playboi Carti

This summer The Weeknd is closing out After Hours til Dawn in Europe — the stadium tour accompanying the After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow trilogy. The 2026 European leg is an extension of the existing tour, not a new tour. What makes it special this time is the production: for the European leg, a gold statue about twelve meters tall by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama was unveiled — more than double the size of the silver statue used on the previous European tour. The statue was hand-carved, cast in Japan and given a multi-layered gold finish; it has illuminated eyes and smoke coming out of its palm. Around it are LED screens, gilded ruins, lasers and pyrotechnics. The show lasts about two hours and contains around forty songs. In Europe, two support acts open for the headliner — Prince 85, followed by Playboi Carti.

FAQ

How do you buy The Weeknd tickets?

Tickets for The Weeknd in London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon are bought through TikTik, including packages with flight and hotel. Everything — ticket, flight and hotel — from one source and under one guarantee. It's important to understand the background: tickets for these shows were sold in waves over the year leading up to them, and the big shows in Europe sell out very early — for the three Madrid shows alone, about one hundred fifty thousand tickets were reported. Anyone who didn't catch the first wave finds that inventory has sold out, and what continues to circulate afterward comes from sources that are hard to verify — and a ticket that isn't valid simply won't get you through the gate, with no refund.

Where are The Weeknd's shows in Europe 2026?

The Weeknd performs in 2026 in four European cities — London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon. Each at a different stadium. London — Wembley Stadium, five evenings: 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19 August 2026. Madrid — Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium, three evenings: 28, 29 and 30 August. Note that this is the stadium's new name since October 2024; many still search for it by its former name, Wanda Metropolitano. Barcelona — the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Montjuïc, 1 September. This is not Camp Nou, and that's a common mistake. Lisbon — Estádio do Restelo in the Belém neighborhood, 5 and 6 September. Restelo is the smallest of the four, and therefore also the one that sells out fastest.

How do you get to the stadiums in London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon?

You get to the stadiums in London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon by public transportation — metro, train, bus or tram. Wembley: three stations serve it. Wembley Park on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, about a ten-minute walk along Olympic Way and only two stops from Baker Street; Wembley Stadium on the Chiltern lines, one stop from Marylebone and a nine-minute ride; and Wembley Central on the Bakerloo, about a twenty-minute walk. Madrid: the Estadio Metropolitano metro station on line 7 is right by the stadium, about two hundred fifty meters from the entrance, plus many bus lines. Barcelona: the route the stadium itself recommends is bus line 150 from Plaça Espanya, which goes directly to the gate and gets reinforced ahead of the show at a frequency of every ten to fifteen minutes; you can also walk from Plaça Espanya in about twenty minutes with escalators, or take the funicular from Paral·lel metro station. Lisbon: tram 15E from the city center to Belém, buses 727 and 729, or a train from Cais do Sodré to Belém station. One detail worth knowing: express trains on the Cascais line skip Belém, but on weekends and holidays there's no express service — and both shows are on a Saturday and Sunday, so all trains stop there.

How do you get from Israel to The Weeknd's concert?

London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon are accessible from Tel Aviv by direct flight — Barcelona the closest, Lisbon the farthest. Barcelona is the most convenient by a significant margin: about four hours forty minutes, and about twenty-four flights a week by El Al, Arkia and BlueBird. London is also very accessible, but it's important to know which airport: El Al flies to Heathrow and Luton, Israir and Wizz Air to Luton, and Arkia to Stansted — over forty flights a week in total, about five and a half hours. Madrid — El Al and Air Europa, about sixteen flights a week and about five hours fifteen minutes. Lisbon is the weakest of all: El Al only, about six flights a week, and the longest flight. Anyone planning for Lisbon should book flights early. Note that the route map to Europe changed a lot during 2026 — it's worth verifying the flight with the airline close to the date.

Does an Israeli need a visa to fly to The Weeknd's concert?

Israelis don't need a visa for Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon; for London a British ETA authorization is required in advance. In detail: for London — not a visa, but an entry authorization: since 8 January 2025, Israeli citizens are required to have a British ETA. It costs twenty pounds, it allows multiple entries and is valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. You apply on the official website or the UK ETA app; the response usually arrives within a day, but you should allow up to three business days, and you must not fly before the authorization is received by email. For Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon — no visa is required at all: Israelis enter the Schengen area for a stay of up to ninety days in any hundred-eighty-day period, and all that's required is a valid passport. What's coming: the EU is launching the ETIAS permit system in the last quarter of 2026, and once it takes effect an advance online permit costing seven euros will be required. As of today the system is not active and no action is required from you. Important warning: the EU warns that there are sites impersonating the official website, charging inflated fees or stealing passport details. There is only one official site — europa.eu/etias.

Where should you stand or sit at a The Weeknd show?

At The Weeknd shows in London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon, you choose between standing on the grass and seated stands. The grass is standing, close to the stage and in the heart of the energy — but without a seat, for two hours, after hours of waiting at the gates. The stands guarantee a seat and a high sightline over the production, which on this tour is a central part of the experience thanks to the statue and the screens. At Wembley there's an age rule important to know before buying: there's no grass entry for anyone under fourteen. Families with young children need a stand, not the grass. Restelo in Lisbon is the smallest of the four, so every spot in it is relatively close to the stage.

What's special about The Weeknd's tour?

The Weeknd's tour is special for a twelve-meter-tall gold statue, the closing of a trilogy and an intention to retire the stage name. In detail, three things. The first is the production — the roughly twelve-meter-tall gold statue by Hajime Sorayama, unveiled specifically for the 2026 European leg, and it's more than double the size of the statue used on the previous tour. The second is that these are the closing shows of an entire trilogy, not a random evening on the tour. And the third is what has been said around it: in an interview with Variety in January 2025, Abel Tesfaye said he intends to retire the stage name The Weeknd after Hurry Up Tomorrow, and continue creating under his real name — and it was later reported that he hinted at the possibility of going back on that. It's important to be precise: there is no official announcement that this is the last tour under the name. This is an intention the artist expressed in an interview, not an announcement from the production.

What do you need to enter a The Weeknd show?

To enter the shows in London, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon you need a digital ticket on your phone, and in Barcelona also a form for minors. And this isn't just a formality: at Wembley the phone is the ticket and the official ticketing app is required; in Madrid and Barcelona a QR code is scanned from the app or the browser, and a PDF file, printout or screenshot are not valid. Wembley also strictly limits bags: one small bag per person no larger than an A4 sheet, meaning up to 297 by 210 by 210 millimeters, and the stadium makes clear that a bag folded to look smaller will not be accepted. Wembley is also a completely cashless stadium. Regarding age: at Wembley there's no entry under age four, and under age fourteen an adult companion over eighteen is mandatory; in Lisbon the rating is six and up. And in Barcelona there's a requirement you must prepare for in advance — a minor under sixteen requires an online authorization form on the Barcelona city council website, with a separate QR code for each minor shown at the entrance in addition to the ticket, and by presenting ID for both the responsible adult and the minor. One adult can accompany up to five minors. Without this form, you cannot enter.
