Parc des Princes sits in the 16th arrondissement in southwest Paris, about four kilometers from the Eiffel Tower, and with a capacity of 47,929 seats it's relatively small compared to its big European rivals — and that's exactly what makes it one of the most intimidating grounds on the continent. It's built as a closed bowl of four covered stands: Tribune Auteuil and Tribune Boulogne behind the goals, and Tribune Paris and Tribune Borelli — also known as the presidential stand — along the sidelines. The attendance record was set on 18 February 1989 in a match between France and Wales: 50,370 spectators. The moment not to miss at the Parc is actually the hour before kickoff, when the two stands behind the goals lead singing, flares and giant tifos to the sound of "Ici c'est Paris." Address: 24 Rue du Commandant Guilbaud, 75016 Paris. Note: there's no sale or drinking of alcohol inside the stadium, and bags are limited to A4 size.
FAQ
How do you buy tickets to a PSG match?
Tickets to PSG matches at Parc des Princes are among the toughest in Europe — and new season tickets aren't sold at all. After two straight European titles the situation is especially acute. The club announced in June 2026 that over 99 percent of season-ticket holders renewed, so no sale of new season tickets was opened for the season at all. The MyParis membership program, in a free version and a premium version, gives purchase priority. Sale to the general public does exist on the official website, usually two to three weeks before the match, but the inventory is small and sells out fast. The most practical channel is the club's official resale exchange, where season-ticket holders sell seats they aren't using — more than ten thousand tickets for every match. A critical point you must know: tickets at the Parc are completely nominative and personal, and a documentary identity check is carried out at the gates — you must carry an ID, and any transfer of a ticket is forbidden. TikTik obtains tickets to PSG matches through channels that fit these rules.
How do you get to Parc des Princes?
Parc des Princes is reached on metro line 9 to Porte de Saint-Cloud station — about five minutes' walk. There are two official metro stations: line 9 reaches Porte de Saint-Cloud, about 350 meters, and that's the recommended station; line 10 to Porte d'Auteuil station — about ten minutes' walk. Away clubs explicitly recommend using line 9 rather than line 10, because the exit on line 10 leads to a neighborhood considered a PSG-fan area. Buses: lines 22, 62 and 72 to Porte de Saint-Cloud station, and lines 32 and 52 to Porte d'Auteuil station. From central Paris you can get there on line 9 with no changes, from Orly airport in about an hour and six minutes, and from Charles de Gaulle in about an hour and a half.
Is there parking at Parc des Princes?
There's no available parking at Parc des Princes on match day — and that's a warning from the club itself. On match day, security barriers are set up around the stadium, and traffic on the stretch between Porte de Saint-Cloud and Porte d'Auteuil is restricted and sometimes completely blocked. The nearby car parks fill up hours before kickoff and street parking is almost nonexistent. The nearest public car park is on the Porte de Saint-Cloud boulevard south of the stadium. Anyone who has to arrive by car should book a car park in advance, arrive two to three hours early, or park further out in Boulogne-Billancourt and continue by metro. For away fans there's no available parking near the stadium at all. For bicycles and scooters there's secure parking at Place du Général Stefanik, open from two hours before until an hour after the final whistle.
How do you get from Israel to a PSG match?
From Israel you get to a PSG match on a direct flight from Tel Aviv to Paris — Charles de Gaulle or Orly. It's one of the most convenient matches to reach from Israel, and there are many direct flights to both airports. From there it's all public transport — from Orly you take metro line 14 and change at Saint-Lazare station to line 9, a ride of about an hour and six minutes; from Charles de Gaulle the RER B to the center and then line 9, about an hour and a half. The stadium is within the city, so you can combine the match with a regular weekend in Paris with no intercity travel at all.
Does an Israeli need a visa to fly to the match?
No. Israelis enter Schengen-area countries visa-free for stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and all that's required is a valid passport. Worth knowing what's coming: the European Union is launching the ETIAS authorization system in the last quarter of 2026. Once it takes effect, an online authorization will be required in advance, at a cost of €7, valid for three years or until the passport expires — whichever comes first. As of today the system is not active and no action is required from you. Important warning: the EU warns that many sites impersonate the official site, use the EU logo and charge inflated fees or steal passport and credit card details. There is only one official site — europa.eu/etias — and any address not on the europa.eu domain is not official.
Where's the best place to sit at Parc des Princes?
For atmosphere at Parc des Princes, sit in Tribune Auteuil, and for the best view — on the second tier of Tribune Paris. Tribune Auteuil is the heart of the atmosphere — that's where the Collectif Ultras Paris sit, the only ultras group the club officially recognizes, and the club itself describes the atmosphere there as "explosive and unique in Europe." Tribune Boulogne is the historic stand, the Kop of Boulogne, and recently the club approved about 500 members of the group to also fill it at every match — removing the seat numbering in its upper section and approving drums and megaphones, to balance out an atmosphere that for years had concentrated almost only in Auteuil. Tribune Paris is the family-friendly and accessible stand, and it also holds the areas for away fans and for disabled fans. Tribune Borelli in the west is the main stand, with the benches and the tunnels. The best view for the match itself: the second tier of Paris or Borelli, close to the halfway line. The best atmosphere: Auteuil. Away fans sit in the corner across two tiers, and a ticket in the home stand forbids wearing the away team's colors.
What's special about PSG?
PSG is the reigning European champion — two years running, the first French club ever to do so. On 30 May 2026, at the Puskás stadium in Budapest, PSG held on to the title against Arsenal — 1-1 after extra time and 4-3 on penalties; a year earlier it won for the first time with a 5-0 victory over Inter, as part of a continental treble that was the first ever by a French club. PSG is the second club this century to win two straight titles, and the first French one. Leading all of this is Luis Enrique, appointed in July 2023, who has become the most successful coach in the club's history: three straight Ligue 1 titles, two French cups, two Champions Leagues, a European Super Cup and an Intercontinental Cup. In April 2026 he recorded his 50th Champions League win in just 77 matches — a record that overtook Pep Guardiola.
What's PSG's big game in the 2026/27 season?
PSG's big league game is Le Classique against Marseille, at home at the Parc on 7 February 2027. Alongside it are Champions League nights at the Parc — PSG enters as defending champion, the draw is held on 27 August 2026 in Monaco and matchday one on 8–10 September, so the opponents aren't yet known; the final will be held on 5 June 2027 at the Metropolitano stadium in Madrid. In the league, the big game is Le Classique against Marseille: away at the Vélodrome on Sunday 20 September 2026 at 20:45, and at home at the Parc on 7 February 2027. PSG opens the season at home against Stade Rennais on Sunday 23 August 2026 at 20:45 — its first home season-opener since 2023. And even before the league itself begins: PSG already won the European Super Cup on 12 August in Salzburg, after beating Aston Villa 2-1 and holding on to the title; in the French Champions Cup, on the other hand, Lens beat it 1-0 in Bollaert on 16 August. Also on the schedule: the Paris derby against Paris FC at the Parc on 12 December 2026, and Lyon at home on 25 October.
