A trip following Manchester United in December 2026 can start with a home match at Old Trafford or fit into a visit to London or Newcastle. In the 2026/27 season, you can choose between a match ticket and a package for the away matches against Crystal Palace and Arsenal. The choice depends on the city you want to stay in, the opponent and your travel dates.
For those who want to see United in Manchester, the match against Coventry City offers a visit to Old Trafford. Those planning to stay in Newcastle can choose the away match against the local team. These are different options for planning the trip: start from the city you want to visit, or choose the match first and build your stay around it.
If visiting Old Trafford is the reason for the trip, start by choosing the home match. Before booking flights and a hotel, check the match date and the change conditions of the bookings. Leave a margin between landing and arriving at the stadium, so you don't plan a route that depends on a tight connection between the flight and the match.
The match against RB Leipzig suits those looking for a Tuesday match at Old Trafford. Next comes the away match against Crystal Palace in London, for which you can book a ticket or a package that includes a flight, hotel and ticket. This way you can choose between a trip to United's home ground and watching the team during a stay in London.
For a trip focused on the home match, plan your stay in Manchester around the visit to the stadium. If you chose the match in London, decide whether to book a ticket and plan the flight and hotel separately, or to book a package. With either option, check how the flight times fit in with planning your journey to the match and back from it.
The match against Arsenal lets you see United at the Emirates Stadium in London. For those who want to combine this match with a trip to the city, tickets are offered as well as a package that includes a flight, hotel and ticket.
If the opponent is your main consideration, choose the match you want to see and then tailor the trip to it. If London has already been chosen as the destination, tailor your stay to the match date. When planning match day, check in advance the route to the stadium and the options for returning to the hotel.
For those aiming for a trip at the end of December, United host Nottingham Forest on Sunday and Sunderland on Wednesday. In both cases the match is held at Old Trafford in Manchester, and tickets can be booked.
You can start by choosing the day that suits your trip: a match on Sunday or a match on Wednesday. Once you have chosen, plan your flight, accommodation and getting to the stadium around it. We recommend arriving at the stadium early and leaving time for entry and for finding your seat.
