Uber Arena Guide — concerts, tickets and tips
Uber Arena is a covered multi-purpose arena in the Friedrichshain neighborhood of Berlin. It hosts concerts, ice hockey and basketball games and other sports events. On TikTik you can order tickets for the upcoming concerts at the arena, and for some of the concerts there is also a flight, hotel and ticket package.
About Uber Arena
The arena opened in 2008. In the past it was called O2 World and Mercedes-Benz Arena. In 2024 it received the name Uber Arena, after a long-term agreement with AEG Europe, the company that operates it. Whoever searches for the venue under its previous names will arrive at the same arena.
At concerts and MMA events, up to 17,000 people enter the arena. It is the home ground of the ice hockey team Eisbären Berlin and the basketball team Alba Berlin. The arena hosted the EuroLeague Final Four, the European competition of professional basketball clubs, three times: in 2009, 2016 and 2024.
Uber Arena was one of the prominent parts of Mediaspree, the urban renewal project in Berlin. Very quickly it became a symbol of the project, and was at the center of the public debate over its influence on the city.

Tips before flying to a concert
- Book early: It's best to book the ticket, flight, and hotel as early as possible. That gives you more options in choosing flight and hotel dates.
- Check the flight time against the concert time: Before booking a flight, check when the concert starts. Leave enough time on arrival day, and make sure the return flight doesn't leave too early the morning after.
- Arrive at the venue early: It takes time to enter a venue of up to 17,000 people. Arriving early saves stress at the entrance and gives you time to find your seat.
- Keep the tickets within reach: Make sure in advance that the tickets are kept with you and that you can present them at the entrance, even without an internet connection.
