Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer: a Vocaloid singing-synthesis software developed by the Japanese company Crypton Future Media, with a voice based on recordings of Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita. The character representing the software is a 16-year-old girl with twin turquoise ponytails. The software was released in August 2007, and since then Miku has performed at live concerts as an animated projection on stage. Her name means "the first sound of the future" in Japanese.
The European tour visits six cities in November 2026: The O2 in London on November 12, ING Arena in Brussels on the 14th, AFAS Live in Amsterdam on the 15th, AccorHotels Arena in Paris on the 22nd, Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid on the 25th, and the finale at Campo Pequeno in Lisbon on November 27.
It's a concert like no other: a live band plays on stage, while Miku appears as a life-size projection, singing and dancing. The audience comes with glow sticks and sings along, and even those unfamiliar with this world leave with an extraordinary experience.
